こういう話を聞きました。
I have heard about this.
「感情のコントロールができる人は、語彙力がある。」
“People who are able to control their emotion has a lot of vocabularies.”
例えば、嫌な上司がいた、とします。
For example, you have a boss you hate.
その人のことを、「あいつは最悪だ！」と表現する人は語彙が少ない。
If a person describe his boss as, “He is the worst!”, he has less vocabularies.
そういう人は、感情がコントロールできずに、暴力事件を起こすか、ずっとイライラします。
Those people are not able to control their emotions, so they might act in violent way, or be irritated for long time.
反対に、語彙力の多い人は、その上司がどう最悪かをよく考えて、どう最悪かを表現する。例えば、
On the other hand, people who are able to use a lot of vocabularies describe how the boss is the worse and express how bad he is. For example,
「あの上司は、私に対する態度が悪い。そもそも、彼のあの喋り方が下品なんだ。学校で敬語や謙譲語は、勉強したのだろうか。他人をバカだと言うが、自分をバカだと言うことに気がついていないおバカさんはお前だ。」
His attitude toward me is really bad. First of all, how he talks is not elegant at all. I wonder if he even learned honorific language or humble language at school? He calls other people stupid, though he is a stupid person who doesn’t realize that he is stupid.
私が考えたこの文章がいい例なのかは分かりません。
I don’t know if this sentence above would be a good example.
しかし、日本語を勉強する上でも、何かについて多くの語彙で説明すると言う練習は、日本語の上達になる上に、感情のコントロールもできるらしいですよ。
However, the practice to describe about something with variety of vocabularies might control your emotion in addition to improve your Japanese.

It’s low-lying part of city, and there is a temple. There is a tower called Skytree near there. In spring, you will see beautiful cherry blossoms and in summer there is a festival near Sumida river. Personally I like Asakusa because the station is small.
